The movie is based on A Star Is Born by William A. Wellman Robert Carson Dorothy Parker Alan Campbell. Transcona Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bradley Cooper, Todd Phillips, Clint Eastwood, Bill Gerber, Lynette Howell Taylor, Jon Peters and Sidney Luft. A Star Is Born is written by Bradley Cooper, Eric Roth, Will Fetters, Irene Mecchi, Christopher Wilkinson, Moss Hart, Dorothy Parker, Alan Campbell, Robert Carson and William A. Wellman and it is directed by Bradley Cooper and George Cukor. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
