An architect and writer named Walter Stackhouse becomes fascinated by a local murder and develops a connection with the womans husband, but as his own marriage deteriorates and his wife is found dead, a detective starts suspecting the husbands as possible suspects and uncovers a potential connection between the two crimes. The movie is based on The Blunderer by Patricia Highsmith. Killer Films in association with Sierra Pictures, 20db Films, Electric Shadow Company and Blue PM. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Christine Vachon, Susan Boyd, Ted Hope and Kelly Mccormick. A Kind of Murder is written by Susan Boyd and directed by Andy Goddard. Magnolia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
