Prithviraj Productions in association with SPE Films India. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Abin Baby and Supriya Menon. The motion picture is written and directed by Jenuse Mohamed. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. 9 was released on 7th February 2019 and takes a screen time of 148 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. 9 was made on a budget of ₹11 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹37 crore. Cinematography was done by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing by Shameer Muhammed. The music was composed by Shaan Rahman along with Pradeep Babu and Sekhar Menon.
