An American journalist travels to India for what she thinks will be an easy magazine feature on Bollywood weddings, only to have the assignment interrupted by a cop, who is convinced there is journalistic espionage behind the innocent magazine article. As the coverage of Bollywood weddings unfolds, so does a colorful mosaic of lost loves, transgender tangles and culture clashes along the heartfelt journey of life, symbolized by the universal ups and downs of a wedding celebration. Written by Uniglobe 5 Weddings is a 2018 English-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Nargis Fakhri, Rajkummar Rao, Bo Derek, Candy Clark, Anneliese Van Der Pol, Shavinder Vicky and Kamlesh Walia. Uniglobe Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Namrata Singh Gujral. The motion picture is written and directed by Namrata Singh Gujral. 5 Weddings was released on 21st September 2018 in Hindi and English languages and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of ₹32 lakh. Cinematography was done by Christo Bakalov and BAC and editing by Steve Mirkovich. The music was composed by Vishal Mishra along with Christopher French.

    The chemistry between Nargis and Rajkummar is unconvincing. While easily Rajkummar pulls off his role as a cop who is torn between his love and his work, Nargis doesnt bring much to the table. ( Read More )
