In 2011, a man carried out a bomb attack in Oslo, Norway, and went on to shoot and kill attendees at a summer camp, claiming to be part of a white nationalist group, while one survivor, Viljar Hanssen, endured severe injuries and the attacker was eventually sentenced to 21 years in prison. 22 July is a 2018 American English-language Crime Drama film featuring Anders Danielsen Lie, Jon Igarden, Jonas Strand Gravli, Jon Oigarden, Maria Bock, Thorbjørn Harr and Shane Alexander Caldwell. The movie is inspired from One of Us: The Story of a Massacre in Norway and Its Aftermath by sne Seierstad. Scott Rudin Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Scott Rudin, Eli Bush, Gregory Goodman and Paul Greengrass. The movie is written and directed by Paul Greengrass. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. 22 July was released on 10th October 2018 and takes a screen time of 143 minutes. 22 July was made on a budget of $20 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Paul Greengrass. Cinematography was done by P l Ulvik Rokseth and editing by William Goldenberg. The music was composed by Sune Martin.
