The film is written and directed by Toranong Srichua. 20th June Entertainment Co. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. 2022 Tsunami was released on 28th May 2009 in Thai and Southern Thai languages and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. 2022 Tsunami was made on a budget of 160 million and at the box office it grossed only 5 million. Cinematography was done by Sarayut Sattayaporn and editing by Manop Janjarasskul. The music was composed by Thippataj Pirompak.
