Visualizer Film Productions in association with Shanghai Film Group, Mediacorp Raintree Pictures, Western Movie Group, Desen International Media, Beijing ShengShi Huarui Film Investment & Management, Donlord Skykee Film Investment, Shenzhen Shenguang M were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Wang Tianyun and Susanna Tsang. 14 Blades is written by Daniel Lee, Abe Kwong, Mak Tin-shu, Lau Ho-leung and Chan Siu-cheung and it is directed by Daniel Lee. Arclight Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. 14 Blades was released on 4th February 2010 and takes a screen time of 114 minutes. 14 Blades was made on a budget of $20 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. Cinematography was done by Tony Cheung and Sunny Tsang and editing by Cheung Ka-fai and Tang Man-to. The music was composed by Henry Lai Wan-man.
