Steve Fitzgerald (born December 26, 1944) is an American politician and businessman who is a Republican member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 5th District since 2013. He is currently a Republican candidate for the Second Congressional District of Kansas. The areas he represents in the Kansas Legislature are Leavenworth, Lansing, Piper, Bonner Springs, Edwardsville (part) as well as part of Kansas City. He is the Vice-Chair of the Ethics, Elections and Local Government Committee and also serves on the Education, Judiciary and Transportation committees.
