Sonam Mukherjee is an Indian film actress and model. She was born and brought up in Mumbai. She was a finalist in I Am She-Miss Universe India 2010, launched by Sushmita Sen. She then made her acting debut with Hindi Film Questionmark,which released all over India in 2012.She garnered a lot of appreciation from critics and audiences alike,for her role as "Simran",who becomes victim to ghostly entitities.Her portrayal of possessed girl earned her a nomination in Best Supporting Actress Category in St.Tropez International France film festival in 2014. Sonam did her schooling in Mumbai from St.Joseph's Convent Bandra and completed graduation in Chemistry from Wilson College,Mumbai.She has represented her school in many Inter-school Hockey matches.She is currently getting trained in Kathak dance under Shila Mehta. She has been roped in for a Kannada movie, shooting of which will start soon.
