SK Basheed

SK Basheed (born 14 August 1985) also known as SBK, is an Indian film director, producer and actor having produced and directed films in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada including Allare Allari, Satyameva Jayate, Benki Birugaali, Pottu Tallu, Yaaredre Nanagenu, Fire and Evadra Hero. Born in Andhra Pradesh to screenwriters Ibriham and Azimunnisa, he grew up under the influence of the film industry. After completing his schooling in Urdu high school, he pursued a commerce degree in AC College, Andhra Pradesh before dropping out, and beginning his career in films by working as Hong Kong short films technical camera department as an assistant director in the movie DAD (2005). SK Basheed, after establishing a production company named SBK Films Corporation, made his first film as a Producer Allare Allari in Bajju Art Productions (Proprietor & Producer ). SK Basheed started his banner's first Telugu Film with the presence of Industries honourable Persons Blessings with the likes of the then Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister: Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Home Minister: Devendra Goud, Home Minister: Sabita Indra Reddy, Rajasabha SM Lal Jan Basha, SM MLA Ziyauddin, Dr. Akkineni Nageswara Rao , Dr. Dasari Narayana Rao, Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao, D. Ramanaidu, EVV Satyanarayana, Prasad Lab's Ramesh Prasad, Director Muktiyala Subaya, Director Sagar, Director B.Gopal, Shrikant , Tamil Film Director: Suresh Krishna and other Andhra State Esteemed Political leaders. Made his directorial debut under Assistance of Muppalaneni Siva with Allare Allari Telgu Movie(2007) and received critical acclaim for portraying modern youth. Following it, he made Satyameva Jayate (2009). He went on to make the commercially successful Chandramukhi (2009), though failing to receive critical acclaim for it. He started his acting career with Benki Birugali (2013), and indulged in further experimentation before he acted in, Ramdev (2010) film as a special appearance for a song. In the upcoming year, he directed and produce Fire(2014). In 2015, SBK forayed into Bollywood with a youth flick titled 100% Useless Fellows where he collaborated with the enigmatic Bappi Lahiri and International Rapper Snoop Dog for the energetic track "Patiala Pegg". He also made the film Evadra Hero in 2015. In 2016, he released a total of 3 movies which included XYZ Evarini vadalanu, Notuku Potu , Mental Police. He currently has the movies Dongodochhadu and 100% Useless Fellows under production.
