Shakila (born 1 January 1935) is an actress, best known for her roles in Guru Dutt's films: Aar Paar (1954) and C.I.D. (1956). She also starred with Shammi Kapoor in Shakti Samanta's China Town (1962). She also had worked beautifully in films like Post Box 999. Her husband's name is Johny Barber. She retired from cinema in 1963 when she married and decided to move to the United Kingdom with her husband who was not from the film industry. She had a daughter with him named Meenaz, who died in 1991. Shakila's sister Noor (short for Noorjehan) was married to Johnny Walker (actor). The famous song baabuujii dhiire chalanaa(बाबूजी धीरे चलना) from Aar Paar was filmed on her.
