Simon Kuke (nickname: Kuke) is a Thai stuntman, actor and action choreographer. He was born in Kalasin province in named Sarut Khanwilai (formerly Suchart Khanwilai; ศรุต ขันวิไล, สุชาติ ขันวิไล), he liked action films since childhood especially martial arts films and Shaw Brothers's wuxia films his favorite actors such as Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and legendary Thai action actor Panna Rittikrai. While he was a freshman of The Institute of Physical Education Mahasarakham. Tony Jaa who is his upperclassman have a stunt show for students to see, impress him and determined to be a stuntman. He started in film industry by persuading by Panna Rittikrai to role a stand-in for Tony Jaa in The Protector (2005) and Ong Bak 2 (2008) in the meantime, he also starred in several films under Sahamongkol Film International such as The Bodyguard (2004), Scared (2005), Mercury Man (2006), The Bodyguard 2 (2007), Yamada: The Samurai of Ayothaya (2010) including Malaysian film 8 Jam (2012). He have been in the film industry for over 15 years but he is not very well known. Later in 2011, he starred in a low-budget comedy film The Microchip as an supporting actor, so he is known enough. Later on, he was co-starred in the Hong Kong kung fu film Ip Man 3 which was released in late 2015, as "Suchart" a Muay Thai assassin, this is an important role no less important than Mike Tyson, who first starred the film, he became widely known. In 2017, he starred in the Thai television series Last Legend on Channel 7 as "Nan Kam" the Northern fighter, this character plays an important role from the 12 episode to the end.
