S. Narayan (born 5 June 1962) is an Indian Kannada movie maker. He is called "Kalasamrat S. Narayan" for his works. He is successful in most of his works in his career, committed timely to his work and also very humanistic in his life-style. After Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, Narayan is the second director to direct the complete crew of Dr.Rajkumar family — Dr. Rajkumar and his 3 sons. He has given many hits with Dr.Vishnuvardhan and also worked with many actors of Sandalwood. He has directed Tamil movie Jai.
