Renu Setna is an Indian-born Parsi actor working in the United Kingdom. He is perhaps best known for his appearance as the shopkeeper Mr. Kittel in In Sickness and in Health. Setna made an appearance in the BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses, in the episode "Cash and Curry", where he played a trickster who cons Del and Rodney out of £2000. Setna began his acting career after winning a scholarship to RADA in 1960. He has played roles in productions from Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Calcutta, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Before this he was employed building houses as manual labourer in the 1950s. Setna has appeared in a diverse number of television shows. He has appeared on Z-Cars, Doomwatch, I, Claudius, Cloud Burst, It Ain't Half Hot Mum, Only Fools and Horses, Doctor Who (in the serial The Hand of Fear), Crossroads, The Bill, Open All Hours, Are You Being Served?, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, In Sickness and in Health, Holby City, Silent Witness and Collision. He currently lives in Wimbledon, London.
