Paul Simmons

Paul (Paulie) Simmons is an American drummer. He is most well known as the former drummer for Th' Legendary Shack Shakers from 2003 to 2005 and for The Reverend Horton Heat from 2006 to 2012. He was also the drummer in Christian rock band Petra from 2003 until their retirement in 2005. He has also played with several other rock bands, including touring with Black Oak Arkansas during the 1980s. Simmons started playing the drums at an early age, playing with his brothers Mike (guitar) and Jamie (bass) in several cover bands.
