She is the daughter of Geraldine Chaplin, the granddaughter of English film actor Charlie Chaplin, and the great-granddaughter of American playwright Eugene O'Neill. She is known for playing Marnie Madden in The Hour, Talisa Maegyr in the HBO TV series Game of Thrones, Kitty Trevelyan in The Crimson Field and Zilpha Geary in Taboo.
