Lucas Jade Zumann (born December 12, 2000) is an American actor. He is known for playing Milo in the horror film Sinister 2, Jamie Fields in the indie drama film 20th Century Women and Gilbert Blythe in Anne with an E. Zumann was born in the Chicago, IL neighborhood of Rogers Park, as the oldest of four brothers. He was discovered by a talent agent when auditioning for a Disney talent search in Chicago at Paskal Rudnicke casting. He did a PSA for "Voices of Meningitis." His first foray into acting came as an ensemble member in a production of the musical Oliver! in his hometown. He then played a cameo in the Netflix Series, Sense8. Zumann rose to fame in the horror film Sinister 2, playing Milo. He also got noticed by playing Jamie Fields, in the indie film, 20th Century Women, alongside Elle Fanning, Billy Crudup, and Annette Bening. He is now known globally as Gilbert Blythe on the Canadian-American Netflix series Anne With An E.
