Lakhwinder Shabla (also known as Luca Shabla) is a German/Indian Film producer, Storywriter, Director and Entrepreneur of Indian descent based in Munich, Germany. Lakhwinder is primarily known for his work in Punjabi cinema. Lakhwinder co-produced films such as Vaapsi (2016), Delhi to Lahore (2014), and upcoming German language film titled Kopfwäsche (German for Brainwash) and a Bollywood film titled Raja Abroadiya. The Punjabi movie, Vaapsi was extensively shot in Punjab, India and Germany and was released on 3 June 2016 in India, USA and Canada. Raja Abroadiya film shooting is currently in progress with a worldwide release scheduled in September 2017.
