She is the author of two books, Holding Her Head High, released in 2007 by Thomas Nelson Publishers a Washington Post best seller. and A Little Bit Vulnerable: On Hollywood, God, Sobriety, & Politics. (Dunham Books). She is an active public speaker and founder and co-chair of Constituting America 2010.
