He is best known as an ex member of the Indonesian boy band CJR, and for starring drama film Dilan 1990 (2018) as Dilan. In 2018, he won an award at the International Film Festival & Awards Macao for Variety Asian Star: Up Next category. Iqbaal is also active in a band: Svmmerdose as the bassist.
