Francis A. De Sales (March 23, 1912 – September 25, 1988) was an American actor. He was known for his roles on two early television series: as police Lieutenant Bill Weigand on the CBS and then NBC drama Mr. and Mrs. North (1952–1954) and as Sheriff Maddox in the syndicated western Two Faces West (1960–1961). In the meantime, he guest starred on scores of other television programs, often in law-enforcement roles. He appeared four times as Ralph Dobson on ABC's long-running sitcom The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet and in five episodes in different roles on CBS's Perry Mason.
