Fess Elisha Parker Jr. (August 16, 1924 – March 18, 2010) was an American film and television actor best known for his portrayals of Davy Crockett in the Walt Disney 1955–1956 TV miniseries and as Daniel Boone in a television series from 1964 to 1970. He was also known as a winemaker and resort owner-operator. The Fess Parker Winery is one of the wineries along the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail.
