Andrew Brion Hogan "Drew" Goddard (born February 26, 1975) is an American film and television screenwriter, and producer. After writing the successful cult film Cloverfield and multiple episodes of TV shows such as Lost, he made his feature film directorial debut with the 2012 horror dark comedy The Cabin in the Woods. In 2015, he penned the film adaptation of Andy Weir's book The Martian, for which he won the National Board of Review Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
