Dilip sen made his debut as a music director in the film Soorma Bhopali (1988). He was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Yeh Dillagi (1994). The iconic films in Dilips's career so far are Yeh Dillagi (1994), The Don (1995), Veer (1995), Itihaas (1997), Ittefaq (2001), and Valentine's Day (2010) to name a few. Dilip is the son of music director Jamal Sen and the younger brother of music director Shambhoo Sen.
