Barry D. Kramer (born November 10, 1942) is a retired American professional basketball player and a jurist. A 6'4" (1.93 m) guard–forward from New York University, Kramer was named to the All America first team in his junior year of 1962–63, when he played with teammate Happy Hairston. He was selected by the San Francisco Warriors with the sixth pick of the 1964 NBA draft. He played one season in the NBA with the Warriors and New York Knicks, averaging 3.6 points per game. Kramer later played in the rival American Basketball Association with the New York Nets. Kramer played for Linton High School in Schenectady and was a 1st team All American. Future NBA player and coach Pat Riley was a freshman at Linton when Kramer was a senior. After he retired from professional basketball, Kramer graduated from Albany Law School. He was elected a Surrogate Court Judge in Schenectady. He is currently sitting on the New York Supreme Court bench in Schenectady County, New York. In 2014 Kramer was inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
