Amit Vilasrao Deshmukh (born 21 March 1976) is a politician and a member of the Indian National Congress, and son of Vilasrao Deshmukh. He represents the Latur City Constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He is the General Secretary of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee. In 2014,he was appointed as Minister of State for Tourism, Food & Drugs Administration, Excise, and New Renewable Energy.
